Over the past 28 years, Michelle Lee has continued her hard work and boots on the ground approach to giving the fans the best show she can. During the past few years, Michelle Lee has been recognized by the prestigious bluegrass organizations. In 2019, the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) named Michelle Lee as Broadcaster of the Year. In the history of this award, she is only the fourth woman to win this honor. Prior to winning in 2019, Michelle Lee was also nominated for the IBMA Broadcaster of the Year in 2017, 2018 and 2022. Along with being recognized by IBMA, Michelle Lee was named the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America (SPBGMA) DJ of the Year in 2022 and nominated for DJ of the Year for SPBGMA in 2020 and 2023. Being honored by these two organizations has inspired her even more to provide the best shows and to continue showcasing the awesome music created by all the great songwriters and artists.

Michelle Lee has composed weekly shows that have provided listeners a wide range of education along with entertainment and through that, has exposed many new artists to various listeners. Michelle Lee was one of 25 people accepted into the Leadership Bluegrass Class of 2020. While absorbing the highest level of leadership quality and knowledge, Michelle Lee grasped a greater appreciation and better understanding of all aspects in the music industry. Participating in a platform with multiple workshops, she has been able to become a better On-Air Radio Personality by applying the new tools.
